The event is directed to those interested or seriously thinking about investing outside the UK. The Conference, dedicated to investing and partnering with companies in Poland, will be opened by the Honourable Witold Sobków, the Polish Ambassador to the UK, and the Honourable Robin Barnett, the British Ambassador to Poland. The Conference will present benefits offered to investors by the Polish national and local governments as well as the new EU Horizon 2020. The speakers will include the head of the Trade and Investment Promotion Section of the Polish Embassy, a representative of Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency, and representatives of British companies which have already invested in Poland.

A quarter of all Polish districts will be represented at the Conference as well as a third of all Polish special economic zones (SEZs), that is, zones that offer assurance of tax benefits and opportunity of trading on a specially prepared site, fully equipped with the necessary utilities. Both the districts and the SEZs will have stands during the conference and will be happy to discuss their offers to potential investors.
